Description
The 45" Sunstone Universal Appliance Jacket (SUNJK45) is built for the RUBY5BIR and EMCHDZ42 and takes many other gas and hybrid grill brands out of the box with minor assembly. It is double-walled 304 stainless steel and gives the grill a heat barrier and proper venting inside an outdoor kitchen or BBQ island.
It fits most grills with a maximum cut-out of 39" W x 12" H x 22" D. The grill rests on the upper rim and hangs free inside, and a self-supporting raised ledge runs around the sides and back. The jacket is a zero clearance design.
Vents at the lower front and upper back edges pass excess heat and gas through. Universal covered utility ports let you open only the side your gas or electrical line uses. It works with natural gas or propane. With additional accessories it converts to a post-mount grill, and a cabinet peg-leg in each bottom corner lets you set it on a picnic table or blocks before the island is ready.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

I was a little nervous about finding a jacket that would actually fit my Ruby 5 burner, but this was spot on. Install was easy and it looks really professional in my outdoor kitchen. Very happy with the quality and how it ties everything together.
This 45 inch jacket is built like a tank. It fit my grill with a little assembly, like it says. Minor gripe is the instructions could've been clearer for the assembly part, but nothing a handy homeowner can't figure out.
This jacket makes a big difference. My grill now looks like it was custom built into the island. The stainless is great quality and the whole outdoor cooking area looks better. Worth it for a finished look.
No question it's well made, it's sturdy and feels like it'll last a long time. It fit my grill well after some adjusting. But at almost $1500 it feels expensive for what's basically a metal frame, even a good one.
It works for my grill, but the "minor assembly" was more involved than I expected to get a truly flush fit. Solid once it's in and the materials are good. I just expected an easier time for the price.
