Description
The Classic Series 17" x 24" Left Swing Vertical Vented Door (A-DV1724-L) gives access to the space inside an island, and its bottom louvers let air move through. That airflow matters wherever a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 20" W x 27" H x 1-5/8" D and fits a 17-1/4" W x 24-1/4" H cut-out. Because it is vented, it swings left only; the right swing version is item A-DV1724. The door opens 180 degrees on exposed hinges. The depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1", and it fits a typical 4" island frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, in a No. 4 light brushed finish with the flush look of the other Classic Series components. It ships with the Polished Chrome Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Just put this 17" x 24" vented door on my island and it's great. The left swing is exactly what I needed and the vents keep it airy inside. Finishes off my BBQ area.
Solid and feels well built. The 17" x 24" size was perfect for my opening. Small gripe is the finish is good but not quite as clean as some of my other higher end pieces. Still a great value.

Got this vented door for my DIY outdoor kitchen. 17" x 24" is just right for getting to my propane tank. I like the extra ventilation, gives me peace of mind, though I wish the handle felt a little beefier.
Exactly what I was hoping for. The stainless feels very durable and the left swing opens smooth. Big upgrade from my old flimsy door and makes my outdoor cooking space a lot more usable.
