Description
The Classic Series 14" x 20" Left Swing Horizontal Vented Door (A-DH1420-L) opens into the island, and its bottom louvers let air move through, which matters where a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 23" W x 17" H x 1-5/8" D and fits a 20-1/4" W x 14-1/4" H cut-out. The depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1", the door frame flange is 1/4", and it fits a typical 4" island frame. It weighs 11 lbs.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, finished in No. 4 light brushed with the flush style of the Classic Series. This is the left swing version (the right swing is item A-DH1420). Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what I needed for my island. The 14" x 20" size works for getting to the gas line and the left swing fits my setup. Brushed finish matches my grill so it looks clean.
Overall, this is a solid access door. The stainless steel feels durable, and the ventilation is a nice touch for my propane tank. I did have to make a slight adjustment to the hinge to get it to close perfectly flush, but it was an easy fix.
Really like this door. The light brushed finish looks great in my outdoor cooking area. Install was straightforward and the magnetic closure feels secure.
This door gets the job done for accessing my plumbing. The vented feature is good, but I was expecting the stainless steel to feel a bit more substantial for the price. It's not flimsy, but could be a little thicker.
Fit right into my custom island. The stainless is good quality and the finish matches my other Sunstone pieces. Would recommend.
