Description
The Classic Series 14" x 20" Vertical Door (Reversible) (DV1420) gives access to storage or utility lines inside an outdoor kitchen island.
It measures 17" W x 23" H x 1-5/8" D and fits a 14-1/4" W x 20-1/4" H cut-out, with a 1-1/2" flange. The door is not vented, so it is reversible: rotate it 180 degrees for a left or right swing. The hinges are exposed, and magnets against a 430 stainless steel strike plate hold the door closed. It weighs 11 lbs.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, in a No. 4 light brushed finish with the flush look of the other Classic Series components. It ships with the Polished Chrome Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Just what I needed for my island. 14" x 20" was the right size to get to the gas lines, and the brushed finish matches my Sunstone grill. Install was easy and it feels really solid.
Really like how sleek this door looks. The #4 light brushed finish makes my BBQ area look better. Opens and closes smooth and gives me easy access to the propane tank without being an eyesore.
As a contractor I like well made parts and this door is one. The stainless is solid and being reversible is nice for flexibility on install. My client was very happy with how it fit into their custom island.
Looks great and the finish matches my other Sunstone pieces. Small complaint is the hinge feels a little wobbly when it's all the way open. Not a big deal but you notice it. Otherwise a solid access door for the price.
For the price this 14x20 door is a steal. Feels high end and the fit and finish are excellent. Made a big difference in how my DIY outdoor kitchen works and looks.
