Description
The Impulse Igniter Shield (P-IIShield) is a replacement part for Sunstone Series gas grills. It shields the electronic arc at the burner and works with the impulse ignition wire so the burner lights quickly and consistently.
The shield is 304 stainless steel and holds up to heat and weather. It measures about 4" x 3" x 1", weighs 1 lb, fits natural gas or propane grills and installs easily.

Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Solid little part. Fits my Sunstone grill perfectly and seems to be keeping grease and debris off the igniter. Took me less than five minutes to install.
Couldn't be happier with this. Small purchase but it makes a big difference in keeping my Sunstone grill lighting reliably. No more messing with a finicky igniter when I'm ready to cook.
Works as advertised and protects the igniter well. It's well made, but $19 felt a little steep for such a small part. Still better than replacing the igniter all the time.
Finally replaced my old gunked-up shield with this one and what a difference. My Sunstone grill lights on the first try every time now. Clearly made for these grills, the fit is spot on.
Easy decision if you own a Sunstone grill. Simple part, but it keeps the igniter clean and working. My grill lit a lot more consistently after I put it in.
