Shipping & returns

Shipping & Delivery

All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.

Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.

IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.

Receiving Your Shipment

When the shipment arrives, please do the following:

  • Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
  • Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
  • On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.

After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:

  • A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
  • A close-up photo of the actual damage
  • A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage

These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.

We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Replacement ignitor wire, just ok

My old ignitor wire was fried so I grabbed this one. It works, but honestly the price feels a little steep for a simple wire. Install was straightforward enough, I just hoped it would feel sturdier for the cost.

Grill finally lights

This wire saved me. My grill hadn't been lighting reliably for months and swapping in this new wire fixed it right away. Super easy to install and I'm back to grilling with no fuss.

Good replacement part

Needed to replace the ignitor wire on my Sunstone grill and this fit perfectly. Seems well made and durable, same as the original. Grill sparks every time again, makes firing it up a lot easier.

Easy fix

If your Sunstone grill isn't sparking, there's a good chance it's this wire. Simple, quick replacement. Took me about 10 minutes and now it lights on the first try every time.

Grill works like new

I was so frustrated with my grill not lighting right. This was the exact replacement I needed for my Sunstone grill. Easy install and it fires up every time now. Recommend it if you need a reliable fix.

Questions & answers

5 questions answered

Q
Do I need to do any maintenance on the ignitor wire once it's in?Asked by Sunstone Support Team
A
Not much. When you do your yearly grill cleaning, take a look at the wire for fraying or damage, especially at the connections. Keeping grease from building up inside the grill also helps protect the wire and everything else in there.

Q
My Sunstone grill won't light. I'm not very handy. How hard is it to replace the ignitor wire?Asked by Sunstone Support Team
A
Most people can do it. You'll usually need a screwdriver to get into the ignitor box, then you unplug the old wire and plug in the new one. Your grill's manual usually has diagrams, and there are videos online for Sunstone grills that walk you through it step by step.

Q
Will this ignitor wire work on any Sunstone grill, or do I need to check my model?Asked by Sunstone Support Team
A
It's a universal replacement for most Sunstone gas grills with an impulse ignition. It fits pretty broadly, but if your grill is very old or an unusual model, check your manual or contact us to be sure.

Q
What's the warranty on this wire? Can I get a replacement if it quits in a few months?Asked by Sunstone Support Team
A
Coverage details are on our warranty page. Keep your receipt or order number, and if it stops working, contact us and we'll help you with a claim.

Q
What's this ignitor wire made of? I don't want it failing again fast from the heat and weather.Asked by Sunstone Support Team
A
It's made from high-temperature resistant materials, typically with a durable insulated copper core. That's what lets it handle the heat from grilling and hold up outside, so it lasts longer than generic wires. It should handle normal outdoor kitchen conditions just fine.
