Description
The Sunstone 90 Degree 31" x 31" Component Cabinet Back Panel Package (SCC31BP90/SCC3SP90) is a finished structural panel for the back corner of a cabinet island, sold with the front 3" x 3" 90 degree spacer panel that installs with it.
With the set in place, the island can stand in the open on a patio with a finished back, or go into a corner, where the panel works as solid support for the back of the counter.
It is 304 stainless steel and arrives fully assembled with a kick plate and three adjustable peg legs. The legs can be swapped for optional wheel casters or ADA compliant legs with kick plates. You hand-screw each leg in place, snap on the front and back kick-plate, and fasten any handles. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what I needed for the corner of my outdoor kitchen. The 31 x 31 size fit perfectly and it feels solid, so I'm confident the island is stable. Install was straightforward and it really finishes off the look.
Well built and sturdy like I expected from Sunstone. They give the back corner of my cabinets a clean, finished look. My only hang-up is the price, feels a little steep for basically two panels, even good ones.
I'm a contractor and I like parts that make my job easier and look good. This corner back panel package fit right in with the rest of the Sunstone cabinets. The finished panel looks professional, my clients love it, and it's very durable outside.
I'm building out my BBQ island and needed this for the corner section. It's solid and feels like it'll hold up outside for years. The 3 inch front piece that comes with it helped tie everything together, though I wish there were a few more mounting options.
