Description
The Sunstone Universal Base End Panel (SCC27EP) finishes the open end of a base cabinet island. It covers the internal cabinet layers, screw heads and utility ports.
It measures 1" W x 27" D x 30-1/8" H and weighs 10 lbs. It lifts and drops onto the cabinet side with a pin-lock system, no tools required, and it works with full counter overlays. Use it to enclose spaces between cabinets, make room for larger appliances, or finish BBQ grill cabinets on wheel casters.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Really happy with the quality of this end panel. The stainless matches my other Sunstone pieces and it's very sturdy. My outdoor kitchen finally looks finished.
Does its job and looks good on the side of my cabinet. Installed easily. My only gripe is the price for what's basically one piece of metal, but it does finish off the look.
This end panel is a solid piece of stainless steel, no doubt about it. It bolted right onto my base cabinet without any fuss, making the side look much cleaner. It's a small detail, but it really makes a difference in the overall appearance of the island.
Didn't expect this panel to make such a difference. My outdoor kitchen went from looking like a row of cabinets to looking like a custom island. Simple add-on but I'd say you need it. Recommend.
