Description
The Texan Series 16 Inch Trash Drawer Unit (Item No. TEX-16TRD) is a pull-out trash drawer for the cleanup zone, with an ABS trash bin included. The bin holds leftovers, paper plates and anything else you toss. Its height matches the other Texan Series components.
The unit measures 16-1/4" W x 20-1/2" H x 20-3/4" D and needs a cut-out of 14-1/2" W x 19" H x 21-1/2" D.
The frame and paneling are 304 stainless steel, and the galvanized drawer box framing is protected from the weather. The handle is a solid 304 stainless steel rod. The even-toned No. 4 horizontal light brushed finish and large stainless steel rod handles sit well next to most other brands of grills and components.
Texan Series components are built by Sunstone Metal Products LLC, a Texas company.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.
Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
The Texan Series trash drawer is okay. It fits well with my other Texan components, which is a plus. However, the drawer itself feels a little light and I worry about its long-term durability with frequent use. The bin included is a standard size, nothing special.
Exactly what my outdoor kitchen needed. Fits right in with my other Texan Series pieces and keeps things tidy. The trash bin is a good size for an evening of grilling and company.
Put this in my outdoor cleanup area and it's been great. Slides smooth and having the trash out of sight is so much better. Keeps the cooking space clean and organized.
I'm a contractor and this drawer is well built. Solid construction and the 16 inch size works in lots of layouts. My client was happy with how it finished off their setup.
No more ugly trash cans sitting out during parties. If you have an outdoor kitchen you'll want one. Just pull the drawer out and toss stuff in, and everything stays looking clean.
