Description
The Signature Series 12" x 12" Beveled Frame Left Swing Vented Door (BA-VSDL12) is a small utility door for an outdoor kitchen island. It gives quick access to valves and utility lines, and the vents let air move through the island.
It measures 12" W x 12" H x 3" D, fits a 10-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H cut-out and suits a typical 4" island frame. This is the left swing version; the right swing version is item BA-VSDR12. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4".
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It closes with a turn-latch, so there is no handle.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Just what my island needed. The 16 gauge 304 stainless feels really sturdy and the left swing works for my setup. Easy install and it looks great.
Really impressed with the build quality on this door. The stainless is great and it closes securely, which matters since my propane tank is in there. Fits in nicely and the venting is a plus.
For $128 this door is a steal. You can tell it's well made, not some flimsy piece of metal. Works in a lot of spots and keeps things tidy and protected.
I'm a contractor and this door is well made. Solid stainless so it'll hold up outside, and the vent is smart for airflow. Reliable choice for an outdoor kitchen.
Door is solid and the stainless looks good. My only issue was the pre-drilled mounting holes weren't lined up perfectly, which made install more finicky than it should've been. Decent once it's in.
