Description
The StarBBQ 36" Smokeless Fire Pit Insert Package (STARBBQ-36SFPR-PKG) pairs a smokeless fire pit insert with two post-mount swivel grills, one on a short post and one on a tall post, so you can cook low or at standing height over a clean, nearly smokeless fire.
The insert fits most 36" diameter DIY stacked-stone fire pits. It measures 43-5/16" diameter x 11-1/4" H, needs a 38" diameter x 13" H cut-out and weighs about 45 lbs. It is cold-rolled steel with a high-temperature powder-coat finish. The double-wall design drives secondary combustion, which cuts smoke and raises heat output.
The V-track searing grates adjust in height and swing a full 180 degrees. It burns charcoal or wood. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

The 36 inch insert is solid and the smokeless part really works, which is a big plus for our backyard. Getting the swivel grills lined up on the posts took more finagling than I expected though. Once it's set up it's great for cooking, the assembly just could be smoother.
This package beat my expectations. The 36 inch size is right for our family get-togethers and with two swivel grills I can cook different stuff at the same time. No more dodging smoke either. Recommend it if you like cooking outside.
I'm a contractor and this insert is built solid. Feels durable and well made. Two swivel grills are really practical when we're cooking for a bigger group. Great addition to our outdoor kitchen and it gets used a lot.
Love this fire pit. The smokeless part really works, we can sit by the fire without moving chairs every five minutes. The swivel grills make it easy to do burgers and veggies at the same time. Our evenings outside are a lot nicer now.
Really versatile setup for our patio. I can swing the grills over or away to adjust the heat or keep food warm. The 36 inch size has room for a decent fire and grilling. Well thought out.
