Description
The Signature Series 17" x 24" Beveled Frame Right Swing Vertical Vented Door (BA-VDVR1724) closes off a vertical opening in your island, and louvers along the bottom let air move through. That airflow matters anywhere a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
The door measures 20" W x 27" H x 3" D and fits a 18" W x 24-3/4" H cut-out. It has a 16 gauge 304 stainless steel frame and an 18 gauge 304 stainless steel door panel in a No. 4 light brushed finish, and the beveled frame matches the rest of the Signature Series components. It ships with the Signature Series Beveled Handle, which is zinc alloy with chrome plating.
This is the right swing version. Vented doors are not reversible, so if you need it to open the other way, order the left swing door, item BA-VDVL1724. The door opens 120 degrees and hangs on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. It fits a typical 4" island frame, and the depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what I needed for my island. The right swing works great for my setup and the beveled frame looks sharp. Install was straightforward and it feels solid.
Really impressed with the quality of this door. The vents help with air flow in the cabinet and the stainless feels high end. Makes my BBQ area look a lot better.
Well built and sturdy, and the size was right for my opening. Only small complaint is the magnetic latch could be a bit stronger. It holds, I just wish it had a firmer click.
Makes it easy to get to my propane tank and other grilling stuff. The right hand swing is smooth, and you need the vents for safety and to keep it cool inside. Well designed.
Works fine and fit my opening. For $218 though I expected it to feel heavier or have a better latch. It's good, just a little overpriced for a basic access door.
