Description
The Signature Series 14" x 20" Beveled Frame Left Swing Vertical Vented Door (BA-VDVL1420) is an access door for the space inside an outdoor kitchen island. Its bottom louvers let air move through, which matters where a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 17" W x 23" H x 3" D and fits a 15" W x 21" H cut-out. The door is vented with bottom louvers. This is the left swing version; the right swing version is item BA-VDVR1420. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". It fits a typical 4" island frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It comes with the Signature Series Beveled Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Pretty good door for my outdoor kitchen. Feels sturdy and the left swing works for my setup. Only small complaint is I wish there was a bit more venting for my propane tank, but it does the job.
I put this door in to hide my trash bin and it's worked great. Size is just right and the beveled frame looks sharp with the rest of my Sunstone pieces. Install was easy too.
Definitely well made and the stainless feels premium. Fits perfectly in my island for getting inside. It's a quality product, I just think $188 is a little high for one access door.
Finally a door that hides my propane tank and still lets it vent. The 14"x20" size is spot on and the left swing is just what I needed. Finishes the clean look of my outdoor kitchen.
Really impressed with this vented door. The beveled style looks classy and it's very well built. Easy to install and makes it easy to get to the storage inside my island. Recommend it.
