Description
The Ruby Grill Impulse Igniter Wire (Ruby-GIMwire-IR) is a replacement ignition part for Ruby gas grills. It carries the spark to the back infrared burner, which lights the burner's fire ring.
The wire connects to the small knob valve that corresponds to the safety valve on the grill, and the ignition prong then sparks at the back infrared burner. It fits Ruby grill models with that small knob valve, on natural gas or propane.
It is made of heat-resistant components for frequent use outdoors and weighs about 0.1 lbs. UPC 19127108.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

My Ruby grill wasn't lighting reliably and I figured it was the igniter. This wire fit perfectly and was easy to put in. Sparks right up every time now. Glad to have the grill back.
I use my Sunstone Ruby grill a lot, so when the old igniter wire went out I grabbed this. It's the exact OEM part so it went in easy and works great. I'd stick with the genuine part.
The impulse igniter wire itself is good quality and it fixed my intermittent ignition issue on the Ruby grill. Installation was straightforward. My only minor gripe is the price for what it is, but it's a necessary part to keep the grill running.
I like parts that are easy to replace and this was. Took about 10 minutes to swap out the old one and now my Ruby lights on the first try.
You don't realize how much you miss a working igniter until it's gone. This wire got my Ruby grill lighting instantly again. Recommend it if yours is acting up.
