Description
The Signature Series 14" x 20" Beveled Frame Right Swing Horizontal Vented Door (BA-VDHR1420) is an access door for the space inside an outdoor kitchen island. Its bottom louvers let air move through, which matters where a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 23" W x 17" H x 3" D and fits a 21" W x 15" H cut-out. The door is vented with bottom louvers. This is the right swing version; the left swing version is item BA-VDHL1420. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". It fits a typical 4" island frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It comes with the Signature Series Beveled Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what I needed for my island. The 14x20 size works for my propane tank and the right swing fits my setup. Easy install and the beveled frame looks sharp with my other Sunstone pieces.
The door itself is solid and the venting is good for my trash bin, but I expected a little more for the price. The finish is nice, but I've seen similar quality for less. It does the job, though, and matches my other Sunstone stuff.
Really impressed with this door. The stainless feels durable and the venting matters for keeping the propane tank safe and easy to get to. Right swing works with my island layout.
This was the finishing touch on my DIY outdoor kitchen. The beveled style looks great and the venting is smart. Easy to install and the 14x20 opening was what I needed.
I cook outside a lot, so good access and venting in the island matter to me. This door does both. Sturdy, the right swing works for me, and it keeps the island looking clean. Recommend it.
