Description
The Sunstone Designer Series Raised Style 36" Double Door (DE-DD36) has a shelf behind each door for oversized grill tools, spices and other BBQ supplies, in a weather-sealed unit.
It measures 36" W x 5" D x 23" H and fits a 34-1/2" W x 21" H cut-out, matching the 23" height of the other Designer Series components. It sits 1-1/2" off the finished wall and has a 4" deep inside flange, so it works with veneer stone, stucco and masonry islands, and an extra 1/16" trim runs around all sides of the frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panels are 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with solid stainless steel rod handles. Soft-swing, cabinet-style hinges let each door open up to 90 degrees. It installs flush (built-in), horizontally or vertically, and matches Sunstone Cabinet Island products and other Designer Series components. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Just put these doors in my outdoor kitchen and they're great. 36 inches wide is perfect for all my grilling stuff, and the inside shelves really help keep things organized. The raised style looks great too.
I take BBQ seriously and needed storage that would last. These doors deliver. They feel really solid and the 23 inch height gives me room for bigger stuff. Love having everything put away but still easy to grab.
A solid choice for an outdoor kitchen. Lots of storage with the inside shelves and they look good with the rest of my setup. Only small complaint is one hinge was a little stiff at first, but it loosened up after a few uses.
