Description
The Conversion Kit for Sun3B-28" Grill w/IR (P-CKSun3BIR) converts the Sunstone 3 burner 28" grill w/IR between liquid propane and natural gas. It has all the parts for that model.
The kit includes regulators for steady fuel flow on either gas, auto ignition and safety valves, adapters, and orifices sized for natural gas and liquid propane infrared burners. The parts are stainless steel and high-grade alloys, installation is DIY friendly, and the kit weighs about 5 lbs.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Picked this up for my 28" 3 burner grill and it was really easy to install. Everything fit, and now I can switch between natural gas and propane depending on my setup. Sunstone thought this one through.
Exactly what I needed. I had propane run to my outdoor kitchen but decided to switch to natural gas, and this kit made it easy on my 28" infrared grill. Parts are good quality, like I expected from Sunstone.
Being able to convert my 3 burner infrared grill has been great. Whether I'm hooking up a portable tank for a tailgate or using the natural gas line at home, it's really convenient. Clear instructions and I was done in no time.
Having the option to switch fuel types on my Sunstone grill is really useful. This kit made the conversion on my 28" infrared simple, and I haven't noticed any difference in how it cooks. Really happy with it.
Well made and does exactly what it's supposed to on the 3 burner infrared. Install was mostly smooth, but a couple of fittings were tighter than I expected. Worked perfectly once it was all hooked up, just took more effort than I figured.
