Description
The Signature Series 18" Vented Panel Door with Concealed Pressure Hinge (BA-SWVENT) is a low access panel for an outdoor kitchen island. It gives you a way in to electrical and utility lines and an opening for debris cleanout.
The door measures 18" W x 6-1/2" H x 3-1/4" D and fits a 16" W x 4-3/4" H x 3" D cut-out. It is 304 stainless steel, with a 16 gauge frame and an 18 gauge door panel, in a No. 4 light brushed finish. The beveled frame matches the other Signature Series components.
The panel is vented. It hangs on two concealed cabinet pressure magnetic hinges (part P-PMHINGE) and installs vertically or horizontally.

Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what I needed for my island. The hidden pressure hinge gives it a really clean look, and the venting matters with my gas lines. Install was straightforward, even for a DIY guy like me.
Good quality like I expected from Sunstone. The beveled style looks great with my other Signature Series pieces. Feels solid and the venting is well done for keeping things cool and safe behind the wall.
Works like it should and the venting is good for my electrical access. For a single panel door though, $148 felt a little steep. It works, just not great enough to justify the cost.
I used this for plumbing access under my outdoor sink. Good size and the vent helps with air flow, which you want in that space. The hidden hinge looks a lot cleaner than regular hinges.
I'm a contractor and I like how solid Sunstone products are. This door was easy to fit into a drywall application on a client's outdoor kitchen. Client loves the sleek look and having access to their gas hookups.
