Description
The StarBBQ 24" BBQ Hood Rim with Chimney and Warming Rack (STARBBQ-24HDRIM) is a hood for charcoal or wood cooking over a StarBBQ base or a brick pit. The built-in chimney draws air through for good draft and less smoke, and the hood spreads heat evenly over the food.
The hood is high heat powder-coated steel, and the warming rack is 304 stainless steel for keeping food warm when you cook in volume. It measures 24" W x 17-1/4" D x 21-1/2" H with the lid open and weighs 31.2 lbs. It can be carried or set up in a fixed spot.
It fits the STARBBQ-24CHBS charcoal base, the STARBBQ-24FPBS smokeless fire pit base and DIY brick BBQ pits. The rim supports inserts such as the STARBBQ-EXGRATE, STARBBQ-RSEAR and STARBBQ-RGRIDDLE (sold separately).

Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 3 business days after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
When the shipment arrives, please do the following:
- Inspect every box carefully before signing. There is no such thing as damage that is too small: dents, tears, crushed corners, punctures, or scuffs should all be noted.
- Take clear photos of any box that shows damage.
- On the delivery receipt, write down exactly how many boxes have visible damage. If it is electronic, have the driver show you where to notate the damage. Before handing it back, take a photo of the document showing your notation.
After the driver leaves, please immediately open and inspect the items themselves. If you find any damage, contact us with the following:
- A photo of the item unboxed with the damage visible
- A close-up photo of the actual damage
- A photo of the delivery document where you noted the box damage
These steps ensure we can file a claim quickly and get any replacement parts or items to you without delay.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

Exactly what my fire pit needed. Heavy duty and feels really solid, and I use the warming rack all the time to keep food hot while I'm still grilling. Install was easier than I expected and it looks great in the backyard.
Really impressed with the quality of this hood. The high heat powder coat seems durable and the chimney does a good job moving the smoke. Only small complaint is the warming rack could be a little bigger for our family cookouts, but it's still really useful.
I take my BBQ seriously and this hood is great. Build quality is excellent, really pro grade, and it's made a big difference in my outdoor cooking. Everything cooks more evenly and the chimney controls the smoke really well.
Solid piece of equipment. Fits perfectly over my charcoal grill setup and the warming rack is handy for buns and sides. Happy with how it works and how sturdy it is, feels like it'll last for years.
Well made and the chimney works okay for smoke, but for the price I expected more. The warming rack works, though the size is just adequate. Does the job, it's just a big investment.
